Black Chalk, Wild Rosé 2020

Black Chalk is the passion project of award winning English winemaker Jacob Leadley and his family. Wanting to show the wine world the very best of what Hampshire can offer, Black Chalk focusses on a minimal intervention, maximum expression approach to their wines. Wild Rosé 2020 is made from the classic Champagne blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay; all taken from the superb 2020 vintage. A nose of fresh raspberries, strawberries and rhubarb move to a vibrant palate balanced with further notes of redcurrant and a good mineral finish. A great wine to enjoy as an aperitif or paired with shellfish.
